Object or formCritical events (sometimes called watersheds, turning points, or tipping points) are identified as the most important or consequential point when a variable of interest or course of history changes significantly. Questions to be analyzed might include “What critical event caused the current change in climate?”
Rules1. Prior events or facts must be relevant to the critical event
2. Facts, events, and solutions should have data or other citation
3. Correlations must be causal (event A occurred because of action A)
4. The critical event must be the event which has the most direct cause
