Object or form
An explanation, graph, or map of connected nodes with goals and behaviors that can fulfill goals, and the properties, functions, or features that enable those behaviors. Questions relevant for this type of analysis include “What attributes of plants can help protect against climate change?”

Rules
1. Goals, behaviors, properties, functions, and features must be differentiated from each other.
2. Each element must be connected with at least one other element.
3. Each connection must be explained or verified.

Moves
1. Add an element such as a goal, behavior, property, function, or feature.
2. Define the element.
3. Make a connection between elements.
4. Explain the reason for the connection.
5. Revise the element definition, connection, or reason.
